Zines
I have done a number of zines over the years, in every size and shape you can imagine- microzines, perzines, political zines, dada zines, collaborative zines, folded, stapled, sewn, glued, duct taped, stealth to distro to handing them out on the street. For the purposes of this particular page, I am talking about printed self produced independent magazines, not the e-zines, although I do my share of producing content on the web.
Like all zine makers, I have my favorites. I have my favorite themes and subjects and styles. Some stick with us, we try to stop but find ourselves taking them back up again. This has been true for me, which is why it looks like I produce a hundred zines sometimes… but I generally stick with about six at a time. Sometimes a particular zine just runs its course, and other ideas emerge.
